Job Description
As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and driving revenue growth in our retail store. You will oversee daily sales operations, create sales strategies, and collaborate with the management and marketing team to achieve our business goals.
Responsibilities :
Lead, manage, and motivate a team of full-time and part-time sales staff to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.
Develop and implement sales strategies, promotions, and initiatives to increase market share and overall revenue.
Monitor sales performance and analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Train, coach, and mentor sales staff to enhance their skills and performance.
Establish and maintain relationships with customers, wholesale clients, and vendors.
Ensure the store's visual merchandising and presentation adhere to company standards.
Collaborate with the management team on marketing initiatives, inventory management, and store operations.
Appraisals to be accomplished using our Software.
Requirements
Qualifications :
Proven experience as a sales manager or similar role, preferably in the jewelry industry.
Strong knowledge of jewelry products, gemology, and the luxury retail market.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze sales data and make data-driven decisions.
Customer-centric approach with a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Ability to motivate and inspire a sales team to achieve targets.
Benefits
Compensation and Benefits :
Starting salary of $60,000 per year.
Commission of 4% on profit from sold goods.
1% commission on sales generated by other sales staff.
Health insurance, paid 2 week time off, 2 day weekends for most of the year outside of the Christmas Holidays, and a profit sharing plan that is in development.
