OVERVIEWInsight Global is seeking a Senior Safety Coordinator to join a large engineering and construction services client in Kuna, ID. This individual will be providing short term support (~6 months) to a large data center campus.Responsibilities Include : Tour and inspect site to ensure compliance with company, state and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations.Report concerns to safety management and ensure health and safety standards are met by coordinating, promoting and conducting various programs and activities related to the safety management system.Document safety inspections, cite dangerous areas / procedures and recommend corrective procedures.Provide recommendations for correcting non-compliance issues and ensure cited issues are corrected within designated time frame.Qualifications5+ years of experience working as a safety professional in a construction environmentBachelor's degree in Safety, Health or Environmental Applied Sciences is required OR Associate Safety Professional (ASP) CertificationOSHA 10hr and OSHA 30hrCPR and First Aid CertificationsExcellent working knowledge of health and safety management systems such as OSHA CFR 1926 standards and / or state construction safety regulations
