Job Details

• 1-1 / 2 years of professional work experience conducting research and / or statistical studies which involved planning and designing surveys, modifying and applying research and statistical methods and techniques to the collection and analysis of data, and preparing summaries or reports with data presented in graphic, narrative, or numerical form.
• Work experience should also demonstrate the effective use of personal computers, peripheral equipment, and various computer applications in performing database management and data analysis.
• Working knowledge of personal computers and peripheral equipment. Basic knowledge of office application software, such as word processing and spreadsheets. At least moderate knowledge of Access and SQL data systems and statistical analysis software such as SAS.
• Familiar with electronic health / medical record database management; resources and community-based services for infants and toddlers with hearing loss / special needs and their families; and confidentiality and protecting the rights of families and children.
• Ability to communicate effectively with health care providers, early interventionists, and state / community agency staff; and write clearly and organized. Apply research and statistical methods and techniques to the analysis of data.
• Plan, coordinated, and provided assistance, instructions, and training on properly using personal computer hardware and software.
• Provide effective support services to users in problem determination.
