Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment. Experience in the photography or creative industry. Familiarity with payroll processing and tax regulations. CPA or other relevant certification is a plus.
Position Overview
As an Accountant / Bookkeeper, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of Feldman Fitness LLC. You'll manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, invoicing, payroll, and financial reporting. This remote role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and has a strong understanding of accounting principles. This is a remote position for US Residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and issue invoices to clients, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations and labor laws.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Monitor cash flow and manage expenses to ensure financial stability.
- Reconcile credit card transactions and expense reports.
- Assist with tax preparation and filing, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Provide support during audits and financial reviews.
