Billing Specialist Job Details :

Snell & Wilmer is seeking a Billing Specialist to join our Finance Department in our Phoenix location. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of legal billing experience in a mid-sized to large law firm. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel and Outlook is also required. Candidates must be detail oriented, organized, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team environment. Aderant or Elite experience is preferred. Some college experience with an emphasis in accounting and experience using Prebill Manager is a plus. This position is remote, with minimal in-office presence required occasionally.

The hours for this position are Monday through Friday 8 : 30 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m..

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :

• Use Prebill Manager and Aderant to accurately and timely process high volume of client invoices
• Ensure proper setup of new clients include rate management and maintenance
• Work closely with attorneys, legal staff, and clients to resolve complex billing challenges in a timely matter
• Ensure billing compliance with client outside counsel guidelines
• Attend in-office monthly meetings, events, and training as needed
• Develop and maintain smooth working relationships with attorneys, staff and teammates.
• Undertake special projects and ad hoc reporting as requested
