Job Description : Responsibilities :

  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues in production and testing equipment, Smart instrument Lab, including hydro testing systems, steam testing systems, and assembly machinery.
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on electrical components to ensure equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, lighting, and other general electrical infrastructure.
  • Test and calibrate electrical systems to meet safety and operational standards.
  • Oversee electrical panels, wiring, and circuit breakers for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
  • Program, troubleshoot, and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) used in testing and assembly equipment.
  • Ensure automation systems are running efficiently to support production processes.
  • Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards while working on electrical systems.
  • Conduct inspections and ensure all electrical equipment meets regulatory requirements.
  • Keep detailed records of electrical maintenance activities, including PM schedules, repair logs, and system updates.

Skills and Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical training or associate degree in electrical maintenance or related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including motors, control panels, wiring, and PLCs.
  • Familiarity with industrial electrical equipment, including testing systems and HVAC systems.
  • Proficiency with tools and meters for diagnosing electrical issues (e.g., multimeters, ammeters, etc.).
  • 3-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with high-voltage equipment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the maintenance of industrial testing equipment and automation systems.
  • Electrical maintenance certification or journeyman electrician license (preferred).
  • OSHA safety training certification is a plus.
  • Able to operate forklift and recommend having rigging certification.
