Descripción del trabajoHires, train and manage IT staff. Schedules, organizes, and assigns projects. Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. Handles discipline of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy. Manage the company's technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networking systems. Collaborate with external IT partners to develop strategies for IT infrastructure, including security and communication systems. Assess operating costs, productivity levels, and upgrade requirements. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Develops and maintains relationships with external IT vendors and service providers. Manage projects related to the implementation of new systems and technologies. Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Oversee the security of systems, networks, and enterprise information; Develop and maintain IT security framework. Developing, implementing, and evaluating IT projects in line with organizational objectives. Consult with senior-level management to identify business and technology needs and to optimize the use of information technology. Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring the systems performance. Identifying vulnerabilities, the need for upgrades, and opportunities for improvement. Establish and enforce policies and procedures (P&Ps) for selection, implementation, and support of systems. Stay up to date with new and emerging technologies and recommend how they can be leveraged to improve business operations. Ensure timely resolution of reported issues and clear communication until resolved. Oversee development and management of IT inventory. Assist with the following duties of the IT Manager, as needed : Perform miscellaneous related duties and other duties as assigned.
IT Director
The IT Director works under the administrative direction of the Sr. VP of Accounting and IT, with minimal supervision. This role manages and supervises the organization’s technical operations, including all IT-related functions, ensuring that technology systems and applications support the organization's goals and objectives.
Typical work hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. Hours may vary to meet the needs of clients and business operations. This may include days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and / or IT certifications preferred.
- Proven experience as an IT manager, or a similar role
- Strong knowledge or information technology systems, infrastructure and networking
- Experience with Microsoft active directory
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate IT concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communications skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-Starter with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to think strategically and align technology with business objectives.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs
