Majestic Care is looking for a Senior Director of IT to join our teams’ mission and believe in our core values! Our Senior Director of IT is responsible for overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions. This includes managing and directing the IT team to support the use and maintenance of existing platforms, as well as suggest and / or develop new or upgraded information systems. The IT Director will structure, lead, train, and develop the IT team for maximum effectiveness, and will stay up-to-date on trends and regulations to ensure effectiveness and compliance.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
Maintain a list of IT capabilities. Ensure capabilities are maintained (including redundancy). Explore and provide options for enhanced IT capabilities.
Work with Care Team Members company-wide to assess and respond to IT needs.
Manage the IT team. Hold departmental meetings to review strategic goals and initiatives, promote team building and work to provide growth paths for the team. Provide day-to-day supervision and delegate work assignments for IT personnel, and assist in recruiting, hiring, and providing appropriate training for the IT support team.
Oversee the development, design, and implementation of new applications and changes to existing computer systems and software packages.
Responsible for the ordering, acquisition, inventory, and disposition of hardware and software.
Serve as primary contact with outside vendors in the generation of RFPs, bids, contracts, agreements, and other major vendor interactions, System Operations, and maintenance. Manage outside vendors to contract requirements and maintain positive working relationships with software vendors.
Maintain the integrity and continual operation of the IT network, including the wireless networks. Ensure all software is licensed, apply software updates to servers maintained by the company, and ensure backups are maintained.
Ensure the continual functioning of mission critical operations.
Track required upgrades / downgrades in hardware / operating systems necessary for proper functioning of web-based programs. Plan for replacement hardware and ensure hardware failures under warranty are covered by vendors.
Maintain security and privacy of the information systems, communication lines, and equipment. Ensure compliance with HIPAA / HITECH and perform system monitoring for security purposes.
Develop, review, and certify all back-up and disaster recovery procedures and plans.
Plan, implement and monitor changes in infrastructure configurations.
Develop and maintain system standards.
Recommend training programs / techniques for end users.
Migrate old systems off servers and onto a backup access system.
Performs other tasks as assigned and within scope of practice.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Will supervise, train, and develop the IT team, and assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring practices.
Required / Desired Qualifications :
Education, Training, and Experience :
Minimum of a four-year degree from an accredited college or university in computer sciences, or related field, and at least five years’ experience in technical operations management and / or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Broad knowledge of information technology processing systems, concepts, and methodologies is required.
A demonstrated aptitude for learning new systems is required.
Microsoft 365 Experience is Preferred
Specific skills, knowledge, and abilities :
Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
Ability to install, configure and maintain personal computers, networks, and related hardware and software.
Knowledge of computer and / or network security systems, applications procedures, and techniques.
Ability to identify and resolve computer system malfunctions and operations problems.
Ability to organize resources and establish priorities.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to learn and support new systems and applications.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to identify IT solutions to help achieve business goals.

Other Special Requirements :
Must be able to manage multiple projects at once.
Must be able to remember data derived from assessments and document and review specific requests, ideas, and concepts and relate them as necessary.
Must be detailed oriented.
Must possess a valid driver’s license for travel as needed.
