A client of Insight Global is looking for a Federal Tax Manager to sit on-site 4 days a week in either Memphis, TN or Birmingham, AL. They will be in charge of all federal functions.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities :

Federal Functions : Manage all federal functions, including deferred tasks, and coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders.

Consultant Engagements : Oversee and manage engagements with outside consultants, particularly in the R&D process.

Return Preparation in OIT : Prepare returns in OIT,which will involve mainly updating and inputting data.

IRS Compliance : Act as the first line of defense for IRS notices and audits, handling all federal compliance matters.

Fixed Assets System : Manage the fixed assets system, transitioning it to Oracle, and work with the accounting group to ensure it is updated accordingly.

• 4 to 8 Years Federal Compliance Experience
• Onsite 4 Days

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

4 to 5 Years Public Accounting Experience from Big 4
