Descripción del trabajoHigh school diploma or equivalent required. Must be proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks. 3 plus years' experience in a related work environment. Must have on the job experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Knowledge of geometry, algebra, and trigonometry desirable but not required. Strong communication, cooperation and interpersonal skills. JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties & Responsibilities
- Drafter I responsibilities and relationships.
- Prepare detailed machining, assembly, and schematic drawings from engineering design information necessary to complete equipment designs.
- Prepare manufacturing drawings from red lines or sketches, under the direction of an Engineer / Designer.
- Determine the types of drawings and packages required to suit the production process and the engineering drawing system.
- Check drawings for drafting format and for criteria as specified by the Engineers / Designers.
- Complete the layout of equipment for fit and function under the guidance of the Engineer / Designers.
- Call out weld procedures and symbols properly.
- Create dimensions and tolerances with minimal guidance of the Engineers / Designers.
- Assist production with support in resolving problems arising in the shop during the manufacturing process under direct supervision.
- Complete assigned drafting tasks within appropriate times allowed by project schedules.
- Perform other work related duties as assigned.
