Job Title – Marketing Coordinator
Location - Montgomery, AL, on-site
What You Will Do
- Represent Caddell at special association events and conferences during and outside of normal business hours. Network with local business and industry peers to develop relationships and keep current in A / E / C trends.
- Maintain and grow Caddell’s social media presence by executing per the strategic marketing plan. Develop and schedule pre-designed content and timely posts as appropriate and monitor engagement. Be available to monitor and post after hours as necessary when potentially volatile issues arise.
- Responsible for planning, content creation, coordinating graphic design, distribution of and communications about ourCaddell monthly internal newsletter.
- Responsible for obtaining photos for social media (either self-shot or acquired through another attendee) at corporate events and activities.
- Keep national, local, and project-specific regional media contact database current, and foster relationships with appropriate media representatives. Distribute press releases to appropriate media channels and track / log successful media placement.
- Compile and submit periodical ranking lists with oversight from the Chief Financial Officer.
- Oversee mailings, Christmas cards / gifts, and distribution of external marketing pieces, including corporate magazines.
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual digital communication reports, including social media metrics, and website analytics.
- Responsible to collect receipts, correctly assign cost codes and reconcile monthly departmental credit card usage and report to Accounting.
- Responsible for printing marketing materials and all company stationery, including letterhead, envelopes, business cards, notecards, Christmas cards, calendars, etc.
- Responsible to maintain marketing display materials in working order and keep use log current.
- Help create smooth onboarding / first day experience for new hires at the corporate headquarters office in Montgomery by having their name on their workspace, taking badge photos and conducting new employee marketing orientation.
What We Expect
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities – Excellent written / verbal communication and grammar skills. Understanding of public relations, journalism and social media strategy. Strong organizational skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred skills include construction knowledge, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, social media platforms and online digital asset management (Open Asset).
Education / Experience - Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Communications or similar field (or equivalent work experience) and two years’ experience working in the marketing and / or construction field.
