Job Title : Auto Claims Examiner

Location : Irving, TX, 75063

Duration : 6-Month Contract

Pay Rate : $45 to $49 an hour on W2

Job Description :

Analyze and process complex auto and commercial transportation claims, including coverage review, investigation, liability determination, and damage evaluation.

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Handle complex personal and commercial auto claims, including bodily injury, ensuring accurate documentation and coding.
  • Manage the litigation process for litigated claims.
  • Coordinate vendor management, including independent adjusters for claim investigations.
  • Report large claims to excess carriers.
  • Develop and maintain action plans to meet state-mandated contact deadlines and ensure timely resolution.
  • Identify and pursue subrogation and risk transfer opportunities, securing and disposing of salvage.
  • Communicate claim actions and updates with insured parties, clients, agents, and brokers as needed.

Additional Responsibilities :

  • Perform other assigned duties.
  • Support the organizations quality programs.
  • Travel as required.

    • Qualifications :

    Education & Licensing :

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Professional certification relevant to the role is a plus.
  • Must maintain state adjusting licenses as required.

    • Experience :

  • Minimum 5 years of claims management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of personal and commercial auto policies, coverage, principles, and laws.
  • Experience managing claims with injury severities such as fatalities, fractures, and traumatic brain injuries.
  • Familiarity with TPA (Third-Party Administrator) processes is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Personal Injury Protection (PIP) and No-Fault claims is preferred
  • Litigation handling experience for BI / UM / UIM claims is preferred.

    • Skills & Knowledge :

  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, Medicare compliance, and appropriate application of deductibles, sub-limits, and carrier programs.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other claims management software.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment while meeting service expectations.

    • Work Environment :

  • Requires clear thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Travel may be required.
  • Credit security clearance via a background check is required.
