A company is looking for an Outpatient Profee SME - National Remote.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess and interpret needs of the Ambulatory Coding Team, prioritizing work to meet deadlinesProvide education and solutions for coding staff and clients, including managing complex coding inquiriesMaintain coding knowledge and adhere to ethical standards while ensuring compliance with coding guidelinesRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma / GED (or higher)Professional coder certification from AHIMA and / or AAPC (CPC, CCS-P, RHIA, RHIT)3+ years of Physician medical coding experience in a multi-specialty clinicExperience in a level I trauma center or teaching hospital with mastery of complex proceduresIntermediate proficiency with a PC in a Windows environment, including MS Excel and various EMR systems
