Position at Garden Grove Dog & Cat Hospital
The Garden Grove Dog and Cat Hospital is looking for a Part-Time Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our busy multi-doctor practice located in Garden Grove. Being a receptionist in our office takes a special kind of person who is able to deal with both humans and animals alike. Applicants must have great communication skills, be friendly, outgoing, and have a true love for animals.
The right candidate will have the following qualities : be energetic, positive, take initiative, team player, able to multi-task, punctual, accountable, willing to teach others and share ideas, excellent communication skills, professional and caring when dealing with patients / clients, and maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
Role Responsibilities : Greeting clients, data entry, processing payments, reviewing treatment plans with clients, filling prescriptions, keeping the lobby and receptionist area clean, communicating with waiting clients, answering telephone calls, and most importantly having a positive attitude.
Days and Hours : Three shifts per week including two weekday shifts and one weekend shift.
Shifts needed : Part-Time schedule is 3 days / week - 2 weekday 8-hour shifts and one weekend 6-hour shift.
Experience and Skills Requirements : Willing to work in a fast-paced environment while still maintaining exceptional attention to details, such as spelling, capitalization, correct phone numbers, etc. Previous veterinary experience or working as a receptionist is a plus. Bilingual Spanish / English is a plus.

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an hourly pay rate from $18-20 / hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
