Our client is a well-known private Ivy League research University and Education Leader and they are looking for an AV Field Engineer to join their growing team on a 3 month contract. This role will work 35 hours per week. The AV Field Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and managing a wide range of technologies. This role will serve as a subject matter expert on advanced audiovisual systems for classrooms and teaching / learning environments and may manage inventory and schedules in numerous classrooms and event / conference spaces in multiple buildings on the campus. The AV Engineer will act as an escalation point for AV technology incidents and will also assist management in the budget planning process for AV supplies, equipment, and other needs such as projectors or replacement parts. responsibilities :
- The Audiovisual (AV) Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and managing a wide range of technologies.
- This role will serve as a subject matter expert on advanced audiovisual systems for classrooms and teaching / learning environments and may manage inventory and schedules in numerous classrooms and event / conference spaces in multiple buildings on the campus.
- The AV Engineer will act as an escalation point for AV technology incidents and will also assist management in the budget planning process for AV supplies, equipment, and other needs such as projectors or replacement parts.
- Preference for someone who holds a CTS or CTS-I certification (Certified Technology Specialist or Certified Technology Specialist-Installation)
