ABOUT THE JOB

MGS is seeking an Associate Attorney in our Chicago office. The primary focus will be on casualty and commercial litigation and the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting on case files, legal research, preparing legal documents, investigating facts, and attending hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys looking to learn litigation and trial work from experienced attorneys and take increased responsibility for cases while still being afforded the benefit of working in a team environment. This is a hybrid position, with a flexible blend of remote and in-office work.

ABOUT YOU

• Current, active license to practice law in Illinois. Dual licensure in any jurisdiction desirable;
• Interest in all aspects of civil litigation including court hearings and trials;
• Excellent legal research, writing and advocacy skills;
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines;
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills;
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and produce top quality work.
