Job Description

As a Spray Technician, you will :

  • Apply fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and insecticides as needed to lawns, shrubs and plant material in accordance with accepted industry practices, safety procedures, label instructions, and requirements of various Federal, State, and local regulatory agencies.
  • Preparing and mixing products according to label instructions and product specifications.
  • Calibrate equipment periodically to ensure precise applications.
  • Assist in gardening duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Limited lawn & ornamental license required.
  • Proven experience in similar role, preferably in a hospitality or resort environment.
  • The ability to safely use hand tools required by the job, while also being capable of following safety guidelines.
  • Must be at least 18 and have a valid FL State Driver’s License to drive company vehicles.
  • Westgate Resorts is a smoke and tobacco-free workplace. Except where prohibited by law, applicants who smoke or use tobacco products will not be considered for positions at Westgate.
  • Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
