Electric Powertrain Engineer

IDIADA is looking for a highly motivated electric engineer to work with plug-in hybrid and electric vehicles. The candidate will collaborate in a growing team with electric vehicle powertrain and charging technologies, combining knowledge of communication protocols, battery and general electric vehicle safety topics.
One of the main challenges of this sector is to develop and validate safe and reliable high power charging systems which enable that electric mobility becomes accessible and attractive for all types of electrified vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and carry out charge tests in our workshops and in-field
- Analyse test results and report to customers
- Communication with customers and suppliers of charging equipment
- Instrumentation of high voltage parts of the electric powertrain
