Job Opportunity : Maintenance Technician (Graveyard)
A client of ours located in Tualatin is looking for a Maintenance Technician.
About the Company : A Tualatin-based facility producing custom baked goods, offering fresh and frozen programs. The 92,000 sq. ft. facility handles 48,000 loaves of bread daily, with certifications including GFSI, Kosher, and Organic. It sources ingredients from various mills across North America.
Permanent hire chance post-contract hours.
Responsibilities :
Perform line repairs, parts replacement, and equipment maintenance according to pre-set standards.
Complete work orders, including cleaning and lubricating equipment as required.
Conduct scheduled equipment repairs and inspections, ensuring they are completed safely, accurately, and on time.
Communicate effectively with asset owners and maintenance supervision after repairs or inspections, providing timely updates and reporting new defects.
Accurately document work on work orders for all repairs, inspections, and maintenance tasks.
Perform equipment teardowns and set-ups as needed.
Troubleshoot and perform emergency repairs when required, including calling for technical support or utilizing outside resources.
Work on continuous improvement projects, including 5S, safety initiatives, and technical training.
Maintain and develop maintenance procedures and systems for plant equipment.
Provide emergency repair and support during both day shifts and after-hours situations.
Requirements :
5 years of mechanical experience and / or electrical experience.
Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in mechanical systems.
Experience with OSHA, food safety rules, and regulations.
Able to troubleshoot mechanical systems by working with operations and / or utilizing outside resources.
Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and other reference materials.
Able to understand the operating context of site assets and how they impact production.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Basic computer skills.
Excellent Communication Skills - written and verbal.
Schedule : Monday to Friday, 9PM – 7 : 30AM
Pay : $35 / hr.
